Prof. Şener Aktürk from our Department of International Relations published the article “Not So Innocent: Clerics, Monarchs, and the Ethnoreligious Cleansing of Western Europe," which examines the causes and consequences of the ethno-religious cleansing of non-Christians in medieval Western Europe in International Security, one of the most prestigious journals in the field.

We proudly announce that our faculty member, Prof. Zeynep Gürhan Canlı, has been recognized as an "Established Thought Leader in Consumer Research" by a recently published comprehensive scholarly benchmarking analysis.

Dr. Ayşen Üstübici, the faculty member of the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, Department of International Relations, has been awarded the 2024 Seed Research Fund of Koç University. The research will examine the future aspirations of the highly skilled workforce and the proliferation of the migration industry operating in the digital space.

Türkiye Household Inflation Expectations Survey (TEBA), prepared in collaboration with the Konda Research and Consulting Company, by faculty members Prof. Selva Demiralp, Dr. Cem Çakmaklı, and Dr. Sevcan Yeşiltaş from the Department of Economics at the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, has been released starting from April.

Koç University Department of International Relations faculty member and director of Migration Research Center (MiReKoc) Professor Ahmet İçduygu and his team was awarded a grant of ~1.4 million euros from the European Commission Twinning Action fund for his project, entitled “Bridging the Migration and Urban Studies Nexus BROAD-ER” making it the second Twinning project to be coordinated by Koç University.

The finalists of the CFA Investment Research Challenge, organized by the CFA Institute, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, and hosted by the CFA Istanbul Society, have been determined.
