Robert Henry Cox is professor of political science at the University of South Carolina. His research in the field of comparative public policy has examined the development of welfare states in Europe and efforts by the European Union to coordinate the policy activities of member states in such areas as renewable energy, public health and digital platforms. For twelve years he was co-editor of Governance, one of the major journals in the field of public administration.
