Overview
Dr. Mahdi Hashemian is Assistant Professor of Management and Strategy at the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics at Koç University. He received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif Universitt, M.S. in organizational development from Sharif University as well as a MA in Management with a focus on System Dynamics from MIT, and Ph.D. in Management Science from MIT. He has won multiple awards including 2018 Rafel Lucea Doctoral Award for Sustainability and Social Impact Research, and 2020 Finalist for the best paper in Academy of Management OSCM. His research focuses on future of work, labor conditions, Strategic HRM as well as organizational learning, and computational social science. He uses various methodologies including computational modeling, panel data analysis, and experiments.
